Description:
It is a type of random tower packing. The ratio of its height and diameter is 1:2. This, along with the conical flange added to one side of this ceramic ring, dramatically eliminates the resistance of air entering through the packing bed.
This also improves the flux and reinforces the strength of this ceramic cascade ring. The specific structure makes an even distribution of gas and liquid, increases the contacting area of gas and liquid and thus improves the mass transfer efficiency.

Compared with the raschig ring, the packing height of this ceramic ring is lowered by 1/2~1/3. The lower height greatly shortens the route that gas passes through the outer wall of the ceramic cascade ring. The lower height also diminishes the gas's drop pressure.
